Choosing Colors

Icelandic bind off
This is an easy VERY stretchy bind off. I have not tried it yet, but I think it would be good for binding of the toe up sock. I has a ridge like a I cord.
Russian Grafting
This can be used instead of the Kitchener stitch when you want to graft two pieces of fabric together. You can also do this with a straight piece of fabric folded in half. It has a decorative stitch on the outside and perfectly flat on the inside. Could be used to close the toe of a sock.
