Now that it is over for another year, I have to say THANK YOU to all who joined us for this fabulous, fabulous fiber festival! It was a marvelous meet with much enthusiasm. The Guild displays were fantastic, the merchant mart was varied and most colorful, the baskets were wonderful,
and TIME WARP was an added bonus of information and skill. Truly an entertaining day!
A huge Fiber Group Hug to ALL!

With all the warmth of the groups participating I look forward to regrouping into the next LOVE of Fiber in a new venue and much anticipation for an even more superb event in 2024! Susan Magargee, Chair

FLEECE TO SHAWL DEMONSTRATION

The Time Warp Sheep to Shawl team will join us for the day to demonstrate up close the intricacies of such a contest. (Well, there won’t be a sheep, but a fleece; and the shawl will probably be a smaller scarf, but the idea is the same.) They will answer your questions and entertain you with stories.

FIBER FASHION FINERY

Plan to wear your finished objects to show off your skills. We will provide tags for you to wear so you can
Strut your Stuff!

SILENT AUCTION IS BACK!

We will again present a silent auction of fiber baskets for bids to raise funds to present this event. Baskets will be on display throughout the day for two specific end times (12:00 and 3:00.) Every year the baskets get better and better; and, once again, in each of the time periods there will be a Secret Prize in one of the baskets! The Secret Prize Baskets will be known to only one person. The Winner could be You! Bid early and often to support our guild events throughout the year, including this one.
And, yes, you must be present to receive your winning basket! Cash or checks only!

The Knit Doctor will be IN!

During the day we will have a troubleshooter in to help with knitting issues you may be having. Trouble interpreting a pattern? A botched execution? Give the Doctor a chance to provide damage control and get you back on track and knit-happy. Bring with you the issue and its pertinent pattern and see what our Doctors can provide in the way of a solution.

Skein Winders at your service

Throughout the day we will have a winding station for you to prepare your yarns for rapid introduction into your knitting project. No more hurdles to getting your new project underway!

Make your own Embellishments

We have an Embellishment Elf ready to guide you through making your own flowers, pom-poms, fringes, flourishes, frou-frous, and elaborations. Materials provided–discover your creative self.

Ask Centre Spinners

This year Spinners will provide advice on your spun yarn as well as hints to improve. Bring your cherished yarns to see if hints for possible improvements can be suggested. If you have questions, perhaps we have answers!
