Making sense of vintage knitting terms
I’ve never seen patterns from the 1800 hundreds. The oldest patterns I have are from the 1940’s and the knitting terms then are pretty much the same as what we use now.

Be careful. One click leads to another and to another and to another……before I knew it I spent a couple hours wandering through free patterns of all kinds of items, not just blankets! Of course I had to download a couple……………..
Where do you go for patterns?
I subscribed to a daily news letter called Knitting Paradise. It has several different sections and some days I jut skim through, but usually always look at the pictures posted of what other knitter/crocheters have made.
