SILENT AUCTION IS BACK!
We will again present a silent auction of fiber baskets for bids to raise funds to present this event. Baskets will be on display throughout the day for two specific end times (12:30 and 2:30) Every year the baskets get better and better; and, once again, in each of the time periods there will be a hidden $35 gift certificate in one of the baskets!
The Secret Prize Baskets will be known to only one person, who cannot be bribed.
The Winner could be You! Bid early and often to support our guild events throughout the year, including For the LOVE of Fiber.
And, yes, you must be present to receive your winning basket!
Cash or checks only!
TIME WARP Sheep-to-Shawl Team Demo
Fresh from their participation at the PA Farm Show, team Time Warp will join us again to share their skills.
The Knit Doctor will be IN!
During the day we will have a slate of troubleshooters in to help with knitting issues you may be having. Trouble interpreting a pattern? A botched execution? Give the Doctor a chance to provide damage control and get you back on track and knit-happy. Bring with you the issue and its pertinent pattern and see what our Doctors can provide in the way of a solution.
Skein Winders at your service
Throughout the day we will have a winding station for you to prepare your yarns for rapid introduction into your knitting project. No more hurdles to getting your new project underway!
Ask Centre Spinners
Have a spinning project that you have questions about? Are you satisfied with your newly spun yarn? Bring your questionable string to the Centre Spinners for praise or advice or some pointers on techniques. You have questions, they have answers!
If you’ve always wanted to spin stop by for some brief beginner instruction on a drop spindle or wheel. If you remain interested Centre Spinners welcomes you for much more!
